As is becoming the norm for artists hoping to avoid having their music downloaded rather than purchased, Special One includes a bonus DVD featuring five videos from various times in their career. The most interesting of which is "He's A Whore," a track from their first album. This performance is a standout as it was filmed prior to the album's release and was part of their demo reel.

Touring with a new batch of songs under their belt, Cheap Trick seemed reenergized on stage this time around. Not that they don't usually put 100% into their performance but the band, including usually taciturn drummer Bun E. Carlos, seemed to be having more fun than usual when their tour hit the House Of Blues in New Orleans on November 11, 2003.

It wasn't just the inclusion of new material that made this tour seem different. This time around, the band boldly started the show with a short acoustic set that began with "Fan Club," an obscure Trick track in tribute to the familiar faces lining the front row, followed by a couple of older favorites and a selection from the new CD.
