BACK TRACK: Summer 1999

Loki of the late, lamented silvermachine.com was assisting us with the Coven Party planning and had a few bands in mind to suggest for inclusion on the bill. I do not recall any of the other bands he proposed that night but, seconds into the first Liquidrone song he keyed up, I was hooked. “Sign them up,” I said before even getting to the chorus of Forbidden Valentine. Rarely ever has a band captured my attention so quickly and completely.
