"We never stopped!" was lead singer Cy Curnin's reply when VH1's Bands Reunited contacted him with interest in having The Fixx participate in the program. Perhaps VH1 needs to upgrade its research staff.

Indeed, The Fixx have never stopped. From their heyday in the early Eighties until now, they have released ten albums of original material, three live albums, and two compilations. They have consistently toured the US nearly every year and recently released Stage One, a collection recorded during their tour rehearsals. Their US Scattered Dates Tour arrives in New Orleans this November after a fifteen year absence.

Joining Curnin are guitarist Jamie West-Oram, keyboardist Rupert Greenall, and drummer Adam Woods. The only non original member is bassist Gary Tibbs who, at the time of The Fixx's initial success, was a member of Adam & The Ants. (Ant devotees may remember the line from Ant Rap: "I got Marco, Merrick, Terry Lee, Gary Tibbs and yours truly.")
