discovered Fatboy (Norman Cook) Slim with his 2000 hit Weapon
Of Choice and its great video featuring actor Christopher Walken’s
surprisingly killer dance moves (and Spike Jonze signature direction).
After falling under the spell of his Halfway Between The Gutter And
The Stars CD (skipping the two tracks ruined by Macy Gray’s
awful caterwauling), I sought out Cook’s entire catalog.
Cook finally released Palookaville, his first new music
in four years.
